Coir Carpets

• Coir carpet is a natural floor covering made from coconut husks with very strong fibres and a textured appearance
• The fibre is obtained by soaking the coconut husks in sea water for over a month to soften them prior spinning them into a yarn and woven into a variety of splendid designs
• As all plant fibre carpets, coir carpet is a very hardwearing and economical carpet
• Coir carpets are latex backed and they can be stuck staight on the floor or, if you choose to use underlay, installed with the double-stick method
